Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Tidyvo: Deep Storage Cleaner ("Tidyvo," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in our Android app.

Tidyvo does not require an account. Its core file, media, contact, Private Space, app-usage, battery, and notification-cleaning features run on your device. Tidyvo also uses service providers for analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, advertising, and consent management as described below.

2. Information processed on your device

Depending on the features and permissions you choose, Tidyvo may process:

- photos, videos, file details, thumbnails, scan results, and your cleanup or compression selections;

- contact details used to find and merge duplicates you confirm;

- active notifications you choose to review or clear;

- installed or manageable app information, app size, and last-used information;

- selected media, a local PIN, and access settings for Private Space; and

- storage, battery, charging, widget, and feature-preference information.

This content is processed locally for the requested feature. Tidyvo does not use these features to upload your media, file names or paths, contacts, Private Space content, PIN, notification content, or app-usage details. Android handles biometric authentication, and Tidyvo does not receive or store your biometric template.

3. Permissions and your control

Tidyvo may request:

- All files access to scan and manage user-accessible media and eligible junk files in shared storage. It does not provide access to protected Android system files or other apps' private storage.

- Contacts access to find and merge duplicate contacts after your review.

- Notification access to display and clear active notifications you select. Their content is not uploaded or retained for this feature.

- Notification permission to show app and push notifications.

- Usage access to show manageable apps, app size, and last-used information. Uninstalling an app always uses Android's system confirmation.

You can grant or revoke access in Android settings. Tidyvo does not automatically delete files, merge contacts, remove original videos, clear notifications, or uninstall apps without the action and confirmation required by the feature or Android.

4. Information sent to service providers

Tidyvo uses the following services:

- Support: if you email us, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to send.

- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics:may process app or installation identifiers, device and app information, language, country or region, approximate location inferred from IP address, feature and permission events, diagnostic data, crash details, and attribution information.

- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): may process an FCM token, installation identifiers, device and app information, language, time zone, notification permission status, message or campaign identifiers, delivery status, and notification-open events.

- Advertising and consent: Google Mobile Ads / AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Pangle, Liftoff Monetize, InMobi, and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may process advertising identifiers where permitted, IP address, approximate location, device, app and network information, consent choices, ad impressions or clicks, attribution, diagnostics, security, and fraud-prevention information.

Personalized advertising is used only where permitted by applicable law, device settings, and the consent choices presented to you.

5. How information is used and shared

We use information to provide features, remember settings, measure app performance, diagnose failures, deliver permitted notifications, display and measure ads, manage consent, prevent fraud, respond to requests, and comply with law.

Information is shared only as needed with the providers named above, service providers supporting notification delivery or user requests, authorities when legally required, or parties involved in a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. Providers may process information in other countries under their own terms and data-protection safeguards.

We do not sell your media, contacts, Private Space content, notification content, or app-usage details, and we do not sell personal information for money. Some laws may treat certain advertising disclosures as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Where applicable, available consent or privacy controls provide the choices required by law.

Provider policies: [Google](https://policies.google.com/privacy), [Firebase](https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy), [Google advertising](https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads), [Meta](https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/), [Pangle](https://www.pangleglobal.com/privacy/enduser-en), [Liftoff](https://liftoff.io/privacy-policy/), and [InMobi](https://www.inmobi.com/privacy-policy/).

Where required, processing is based on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in maintaining the app, your consent, or legal obligations.

6. Retention and security

Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear Tidyvo's storage, uninstall the app, or Android removes it. Clearing app data or uninstalling may make Private Space content unrecoverable. Support messages are kept only as reasonably needed to respond and meet legal obligations. Analytics, crash, advertising, consent, and notification data is retained according to our configuration, operational needs, law, and each provider's policy.

Tidyvo uses Android permission and confirmation controls, encrypted connections for transmitted service data, and Android Keystore-backed local encryption for Private Space. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

You can revoke Android permissions, disable notifications, manage Android advertising settings, respond to consent or privacy choices shown in the app, clear local app data, or uninstall Tidyvo.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal, and may complain to a data-protection authority. Because Tidyvo has no user accounts and some provider data uses installation identifiers, we may need additional information to locate a record and may not always be able to identify it.

8. Children, changes, and contact

Tidyvo is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their location, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy when our features, providers, data practices, or legal requirements change. The latest revision date appears at the top.
